Dans un communiqué publié ce dimanche 13 août 2023, la Coordination de Presse et des Relations Publiques de la Police Nationale d’Haïti a anoncé l’ interpellation de six (6) individus et la saisie des marchandises par la Police de Bon Repos.
Selon la PNH, cette intervention a été faite grâce à des informations dont dispose les autorités policières ce dimanche 13 août 2023 concernant la route nationale #9, oú six (6) individus était à bord d’un canter contenant des marchandises, dont des pièces d’auto parts, un moteur et un radiateur. Ces marchandises provenant de Canaan 50.
Ces individus interpellés sont : 1) Evens Destiné, le prétendu propriétaire de ces marchandises, âgé 29 ans et originaire de Port-à-Piment, département du Sud ; 2) Stanley Baptiste, âgé de 34 ans et originaire de Jérémie, département de la Grand’Anse;
3) Pierre Lenès, âgé de 29 ans et originaire de Jérémie, département de la Grand’Anse; 4) Stevens Fred Iverson, âgé de 22 ans et originaire de Delmas. Il est le chauffeur de ce canter, de couleur blanche, de marque Isuzu NPR , immatriculé : TP-18917.
5) Romario Antoine, âgé de 34 ans et originaire de Port-au-Prince ; 6) Jonsen Fab, âgé de 18ans et originaire de Mirebalais, département du Centre.
« via le téléphone de Destiné Evens, le prétendu propriétaire de ces marchandises, des conversations téléphoniques et d’autres preuves prouvant son affiliation au gang de Canaan ont été retrouvées.» a informé la Police
Pour l’instant, ils sont gardés à vue en attendant les suites judiciaires nécessaires.
