Plusieurs cadres de la Direction Générale des Impôts des Cayes ont été arrêtés le mardi 11 juillet 2023, par la PNH. Ils sont accusés d’avoir détourné environ 14 millions de gourdes à la caisse de l’institution. Parallèlement l’administrateur et deux autres employés sont activement recherchés par les autorités policières de la ville.
Les forces de l’ordre de la ville des Cayes ont informés d’avoir procédé à l’interpellation de plusieurs cadres de la (DGI) pour détournement d’un montant de 14 millions de gourdes, Marckly Moïse et Adeline Duverseau, deux autres employés de l’institution y compris l’administrateur sont activement recherchés dans ce dossier.
Dans un rapport dréssé par la commission de vérification Sur un total de 1 600 reçus de caisse disponibles, 913 n’ont pas été retrouvé à l’annexe de la DGI de la ville des Cayes, et de plus 14 millions de gourdes sont volatisées.
Les prévenus sont le comptable Nobenson Larochelle et un chef de service identifié au nom de Gregory Macéna a rapporté Vant Bèf Info se référant d’une source proche du parquet des Cayes. Vol, détournement de fonds publics et association de malfaiteurs, sont entre autres des accusations retenues contre eux.
