Soulignons que, Dimanche dernier, 28 personnes ont été victimes d’une fusillade, dont deux mortellement lors d’une fête de quartier à Baltimore, au Maryland. Les autorités ont précisé que bon nombre des victimes avaient moins de 18 ans.
Dans la nuit du lundi 3 au mardi 4 juillet 2023, en Pennsylvanie, un homme armé portant un gilet pare-balles a ouvert le feu dans les rues de Philadelphie, tuant cinq personnes et blessant deux garçons de 2 et 13 ans, avant de se rendre aux policiers.
Et au Texas, trois personnes ont été tuées et huit autres blessées lorsque plusieurs hommes ont tiré sans discernement sur une foule de centaines de personnes qui s’étaient rassemblées dans un quartier de Fort Worth pour participer à un festival.
