Dans un rapport du Centre haïtien d’analyse et de recherche sur les droits humains (CARDH) il est révélé qu’au moins 204 criminels présumés et leurs proches ont été tués au cours des trois derniers mois dans le cadre du mouvement « Bwa Kale ».
Le rapport publié par l’institution indique que 77%, soit 155 individus ont été tués dans le département de l’Ouest, alors que dans le département de l’Artibonite est en deuxième position avec 24 décès et la Grand’Anse occupe la troisième place avec 12 décès.
Le rapport recueille ces données du 24 avril au samedi 24 juin. De même, selon le rapport cité, ces exécutions ont eu lieu à des fins de vengeance.
« En s’alliant avec la police et d’autres inconnus, les gens auraient utilisé ce mouvement pour régler leurs comptes avec des tiers en relation avec des conflits antérieurs de diverses natures », indique le rapport.
