Les autorités de la région russe de Lipetsk, à 420 km au sud de Moscou, ont appelé samedi la population à rester chez elle face à la rébellion armée déclenchée par le groupe paramilitaire Wagner. « Afin d’assurer l’ordre et la sécurité des citoyens de la région de Lipetsk, le quartier général opérationnel (régional) appelle les habitants à ne pas sortir de leurs maisons sauf nécessité, et à renoncer à tout déplacement dans un véhicule privé », selon le compte Telegram des autorités de la région.
Des éléments de Wagner « sont en train de se déplacer sur le territoire de la région de Lipetsk », a indiqué sur Telegram le gouverneur régional, Igor Artamonov. « Les agences de maintien de l’ordre et les autorités prennent toutes les mesures nécessaires pour assurer la sécurité de la population. La situation est sous contrôle », a-t-il assuré.
« La guerre civile a officiellement commencé », écrit le groupe paramilitaire sur sa chaîne Telegram. Une réponse directe aux propos de Vladimir Poutine qui a dit lors de son allocution ce matin craindre « une guerre civile ».

Les dirigeants des deux chambres du Parlement en Russie ont appelé samedi à soutenir le président Vladimir Poutine qui fait face à une rébellion armée du groupe paramilitaire Wagner.
« Les députés de la Douma d’Etat (…) soutiennent la consolidation des forces et du soutien au président Vladimir Poutine, le commandant-en-chef », a déclaré sur Telegram le président de la chambre basse, Viatcheslav Volodine.
« La force »de la Russie réside dans « l’unité (…) et notre intolérance historique pour les trahisons et les provocations », a renchéri la présidente de la chambre haute, Valentina Matvienko.
