Suite à la rébellion du Wagner ce samedi 24 juin 2023, dans un communiqué, le ministère des affaires etrangères russe met en garde les pays occidentaux contre une eventuelle utilisation de la situation actuelle en Russie pour attteindre leurs objectifs russophobes.
«Nous mettons en garde les pays occidentaux contre toute (tentative) de profiter de la situation intérieure en Russie pour atteindre leurs objectifs russophobes. De telles tentatives seraient futiles», a déclaré le ministère russe des Affaires étrangères dans un communiqué. «Tous les objectifs de l’opération militaire spéciale (en Ukraine) seront atteints», a-t-il ajouté.
Sur le terrain, les nouvelles sont néanmoins sombres pour le Kremlin au point où le maire de Moscou a appelé les habitants à limiter les déplacements en ville, qualifié la situation de « difficile » et décrété lundi jour chômé.
Par ailleurs, dans un message posté sur Telegram en début de soirée, Evguéni Prigojine affirme avoir «accepté l’offre du président [biélorusse] Alexandre Loukachenko de mettre fin aux mouvements des hommes armés de Wagner sur le territoire russe et de prendre d’autres mesures pour désamorcer les tensions».
Et alors que des rumeurs sur les réseaux sociaux affirmaient que M. Poutine avait quitté Moscou après la mutinerie, son porte-parole Dmitri Peskov cité par l’agence Ria Novosti, a assuré que « le président travaille au Kremlin ».
