Les kidnappeurs reprennent du service en Haïti depuis plus d’une semaine. Près d’une dizaine de personnes ont été kidnappées la semaine écoulée dans la commune de Croix-des-Bouquets, a Lilavois, Lizon, Santo, Marin, entre autres, selon les informations dont on dispose.
Selon des témoins dans certaines de ces zones, pas moins de 3 personnes sont kidnappées chaque jour. Ce dimanche 18 juin 2023, au moins 5 cas de kidnapping ont été enregistrés en plaine, dont un directeur d’école, alors qu’il devait se rendre à une graduation à Lilavois 8 et Santo 3, nous a confiés la source.
Parallèlement, un citoyen a été aussi kidnappé à l’intérieur du Collège Jacques Stephen Alexis par des bandits lourdement armés. Les malfrats ont pénétré l’établissement, forcé les personnes présentes dans l’espace à coucher par terre avant de partir avec la victime. Cette opération, selon les informations, a durée environ 5 minutes.
La Plaine du Cul-de-Sac semble devenir le bastion du kidnapping. Signalons qu’après l’apparition du mouvement populaire « Bwa Kale », ce phénomène avait connu une baisse considérable. Aujourd’hui, les bandits reprennent du service et la population haïtienne, comme toujours, ne sait à quel saint se vouer.
