Après le scandale de la Libération d’un chef de gang par le chef du Parquet Sérard Gasius, le gouvernement d’Ariel Henry a décidé de le remplacer par un ex Commissaire du Gouvernement, Moïse Deristin, mardi 9 mai 2023. Cependant moins de 12 heures après cette nomination, l’ex commissaire Moïse Deristin a été lui aussi révoqué affirmant que le gouvernement revient sur la décision.
En effet, Sérard Gasius a ordonné la libération de William Raymond, ‘un des chefs de la bande «Kokorat san ras». Jugeant scandaleux cette décision, le Ministère de la Justice et de la Sécurité Publique (MJSP), a décidé de le remplacer par l’ex commissaire Moïse Deristin.
Toutefois, moins de 12 heures de sa nomination, une note du Ministère de la Justice et de la Sécurité Publique (MJSP) a fait savoir que le gouvernement revient sur cette décision. En cause? Moïse Deristin a été expulsé de Saint-Marc puisqu’il a été accusé de corruption. Ce poste a fait de Deristin l’homme ayant passé le moins de temps en fonction dans l’histoire du pays.
Précisons que, le caïd de « Kokorat san ras » a été arrêté pour plusieurs chefs d’accusation tels : association de malfaiteurs, assassinats etc. Maître Gasius a ordonné sa libération en profitant de l’absence du Juge de l’affaire pénale, ce que « Gonaïves debout » dénonce via un communiqué et l’organisation demande que lumière soit faite sur ce cas.
