Recherchés par la police dominicaine, 5 fugitifs dominicains ont été appréhendés à l’aéroport international Toussaint Louverture, ce vendredi 5 mai 2023, par la Direction Centrale de la Police Judiciaire (DCPJ).
Alors qu’ils se rendaient aux Bahamas, ces cinq ressortissants dominicains ont été interpellés par le Bureau de Lutte Contre le Trafic de Stupéfiants (BLTS).
Accusés de trafic de drogue, faux et usage de faux, les nommés Velez Taveras, Lincoln Americo, Rivera Burgos, Jorge Luis, Casernes Vasquez David et Flores Carrasco Claudio Ernesto ont été activement recherchés par les autorités dominicaines.
Pour le moment, ils sont retenus par les autorités haïtiennes en attendant leur extradition vers la République Dominicaine.
