Intervenant à l’émission Panel Magik, sur la Magik9, le Jeudi 04 Avril 2023, le Dr Ardouin Louis Charles a fait savoir qu’à cause de l’intensification de l’insécurité au niveau du pays, les médecins sont obligés de quitter le pays. Il a aussi affirmé que la population haïtienne souffre de cet exode de médecins.
La terrible situation que vit le pays actuellement n’est pas sans conséquence. Des morts et des blessés en grand nombre sont recensés. Cette situation est à même de provoquer de graves répercussions sur la santé mentale des personnes tandis que des médecins plient bagages, abandonnent leurs rêves afin de sauver leur peau.
Beaucoup de médecins, qui se sentent ciblés, mettent de côté leurs passions pour aller prendre refuge dans un autre qu’Haïti. D’autres, plus résilients, fonctionnent avec un horaire restreint.
Il y a des malades, selon Dr Louis Charles, qui sont destinés à quitter ce bas-monde car ceux-ci ne peuvent se rendre à un hôpital pour se faire soigner et il arrive parfois qu’ils s’y rendent mais ne trouvent pas de professionnels de santé pour leur prodiguer les soins nécessaires puisqu’il leur est difficile voire impossible de se pointer dans les hôpitaux.
Au cours de ces derniers mois, le pays est en proie à un fléau sans précédent qu’est l’insécurité. Cette dernière a eu de très graves répercussions sur le pays. Des intellectuels ont vidé les lieux, d’autres ont été tués. De nombreuses entreprises sont contraintes de fermer leurs portes. Quelle mesure sera prise par les autorités pour contrecarrer ce phénomène, qui perdure?
