«Aujourd’hui, on a appris que le Royaume-Uni (…) avait annoncé non seulement la livraison de chars à l’Ukraine, mais également d’obus contenant de l’uranium appauvri (…) Si cela se produit, la Russie sera contrainte de répliquer», a déclaré Vladimir Poutine.
Depuis le début du conflit ukrainien en février 2022, la Russie s’inscrit dans un bras de fer diplomatique avec l’Occident.
À noter que les obus que le Royaume-Uni vise à livrer à l’Ukraine, qui contiennent de l’uranium appauvri, peuvent détruire des chars et des véhicules blindés modernes, a précisé la vice-ministre britannique de la Défense Annabel Goldie.
