Selon les informations recueillies, depuis novembre 2022, le local de l’administration générale des douanes était sous le contrôle des bandits armés de La Saline.
De ce fait, les responsables de l’AGD étaient obligés de délocaliser certains services de l’institution douanière.
Après le pillage du bâtiment de l’AGD, le chef du gouvernement, Premier Ministre defacto Ariel Henry reste encore muet. Un autre cas prouvant encore son échec à la tête du pays.
