Jerry Jeudy, présumé bandit du gang de Canaan a été tué le lundi 6 février 2023 à Bon-Repos dans des échanges de tirs avec les forces de l’ordre, a annoncé la Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH), via un communiqué publié ce mardi.
Le groupe criminel de Canaan, dirigé par Jeff ainsi connu, a perdu un membre important dans son rang. En effet, le présumé bandit Jerry Jeudy a été mortellement blessé dans des échanges de tirs avec des agents policiers à Bon-Repos, zone de la commune de Croix-des-Bouquets, selon la PNH.
La PNH a fait savoir que Jerry Jeudy, âgé de 39 ans, était le dirigeant de « Pitimi », branche du gang de Canaan, situé non loin de Corail. Il «a été installé par son chef de gang, Jeff, un bandit notoire», a-t-elle précisé.
Avant sa mort, «Jerry Jeudy était activement recherché par la Police pour son implication présumée dans l’incendie» perpétré contre «le Sous-Commissariat de Corail», a ajouté l’institution policière dans son communiqué paru ce mardi 7 février.
