Au moins quatre policiers ont été tués, et un autre sorti blessé, lors d’une attaque orchestrée, ce vendredi 20 janvier 2023, dans la localité de Métivier, située dans la commune de Pétion-Ville, par des bandits du gang de Vitelhomme, contre une patrouille policière. Le premier bilan, faisait état de trois morts, un blessé et un disparu.
Les raisons
Des bandits armés du gang « Kraze baryè » dirigé par Vitelhomme, qui sont en quête de territoires dans la commune de Pétion-Ville, après la mort du chef de gang Alex Amstrong Durmonay, survenue cette semaine, ont pris dans une embuscade une patrouille de la Police, où 4 policiers ont été assassinés et un autre est sorti blessé.
D’ailleurs, l’agence en ligne Ted’Actu a annoncé, que le groupe armé de Vitelhomme se prépare pour s’installer ce vendredi soir au marché «Télélé».
Selon les informations qui nous sont parvenues, ce sont des agents de l’Unité SWAT qui ont récupéré les cadavres des policiers, assassinés par des bandits armés du réseau criminel dirigé par le nommé Vitelhomme Innocent.
Les bandits ont emporté plusieurs matériels appartenant à la Police: une voiture, des radios de communication et des armes à feu, dont une de marque T65 et 3 autres de marque Galil, a indiqué notre source.
D’après la radio Gaj fm, après être tombés dans l’embuscade tendue par des bandits, les policiers ont passé 3 heures à solliciter du renfort. Mais c’était en vain.
En moins de deux semaines, seulement, dans la zone métropolitaine de Port-au-Prince, sept (7) policiers ont déjà trouvé la mort pour le début de cette année.
On peut se demander, à quoi servent les plans mis en place par le haut Commandement de la PNH, dirigé par Frantz Elbé, contre les gangs armés, si les policiers eux-mêmes ne se sont pas protégés?
