Le puissant chef de gang de « Bristou », Alex Amstrong Durmonay, ancien policier a été tué ce mercredi 18 janvier 2023 dans des échanges de tirs avec une patrouille policière dans la commune de Pétion-Ville, a annoncé la Police nationale d’Haïti (PNH).
Activement recherché par la PNH, le chef du groupe armé de « Bristou », zone de la commune de Pétion-Ville, l’ancien policier Alex Amstrong Durmonay a été mortellement blessé ce mercredi.
Dans son communiqué, la PNH a indiqué que cet ancien policier, devenu chef de gang a été impliqué dans plusieurs cas d’enlèvement.
Alex Armstrong Durmonay faisait l’objet d’un avis de recherche mis en circulation par la Direction centrale de la police judiciaire (DCPJ).
Ce chef de bande armé opérant dans la localité de « Bristou » était accusé de plusieurs infractions dont: Association de malfaiteurs, assassinat et kidnapping.
