Selon l’Inspecteur Divisionnaire Gary Desrosiers, une dizaine de bandits ont trouvé la mort dans des échanges de tirs avec des agents policiers, lors des opérations, plus de 1550 personnes ont été arrêtées de septembre à novembre .
«Sept dossiers de drogue ont été traités au niveau du BLTS, une entité de la DCPJ. 27, 276 kg de marijuana, 1, 2 kg de cocaïne, 30, 165 dollars américains et 39 950 gourdes ont été saisis par la Police», a-t-il indiqué.
Ces montants saisis ont été transférés, toujours d’après le porte-parole de la PNH, au Bureau des affaires financières et économiques (BAFE) de la Direction centrale de la Police judiciaire (DCPJ) pour une enquête approfondie.
Par ailleurs, pour ces deux mois, à travers le pays, des accidents de circulation ont causé la mort à 23 personnes, dont 15 dans le département de l’Oeust, et 43 blessés, selon ce bilan partiel de l’institution policière.
