Le Ministre de la Justice et de la Sécurité Publique, Me Berto Dorcé, a déclaré qu’il condamnait avec la dernière rigueur, les actes de violence, de pillage et de vandalisme commis dans les locaux des institutions publiques et internationales, des entreprises privées et des résidences des responsables politiques et des paisibles citoyens, lors des récentes manifestations où les manifestants réclamaient de meilleures conditions de vie et le départ du Premier ministre Ariel Henry.
Le ministre de la justice a qualifié ces actes de barbares, révoltants, répréhensibles, contrairement à la loi, l’état de droit et les normes démocratiques. Il a indiqué que les autorités publiques compétentes sont sommées de poursuivre les auteurs intellectuels et les exécutants de ces actes, en les traduisant devant les tribunaux pour répondre de leurs forfaits.
Me Berto Dorcé en a profité pour demander à la population de ne pas céder à la violence aveugle et destructrice que parrainent des personnes sans foi ni loi qui n’ont d’autre but que d’assouvir leur faim politique.
