Ce dernier a été arrêté dans le cadre du dossier de cargaisons d’armes saisies par les autorités douanières, le mois dernier.
Sur ce, l’Église Épiscopale d’Haïti annonce que ses avocats n’assureront pas la défense du Révérend. De plus, elle dit péremptoirement qu’elle n’est impliquée dans aucun trafic illégal d’armes à feu ou de munitions ni aucun trafic de franchise.
Par contre, l’Église Épiscopale dit souhaiter que les droits du Père Frantz Cole soient respectés. Soulignons que ce dernier a été arrêté après avoir boudé plusieurs invitations de la Direction Centrale de la Police Judiciaire (DCPJ).
Il est à mentionner que le père Frantz Cole a été déchargé de ses fonctions de secrétaire exécutif et prêtre en charge de la paroisse Notre Dame de l’annonciation à Bolosse depuis le 16 août 2022.
