Dans une note lue sur son cite internet ce jeudi 20 octobre 2021, l’ambassade de République d’Haïti aux États-Unis du Mexique a annoncé qu’il a eu une rencontre « fructueuse » avec l’Agence Mexicaine de Coopération Internationale de Développement (AMEXCID) autour de la coopération entre les deux pays.
Une délégation de l’ambassade composée de l’Ambassadeur, le Dr Hugues Monplaisir FEQUIERE et des conseillers, M. Yves Rody JEAN et M. Jean-Claude LAPPE a rencontré les autorités de l’AMEXCID et a discuté autour des projets de grandes envergures dans le cadre des relations entretenues entre les deux peuples.
Lors des discussions, pas mal de points ont été débattus comme « la Coopération académique entre Haïti et Mexique; la remise des diplômes aux cents anciens boursiers de l’État Haïtien; le renouvellement du programme de bourses d’études; la coopération environnementale, plus particulièrement sur le programme de << Semer la vie>> , portant sur le reboisement et l’agriculture; la coopération énergétique, portant sur: la réhabilitation du réseau de distribution de Jérémie, du réseau de Port-de-paix, de la centrale de PBM du Cap-Haitien, de la centrale PBM des Gonaïves et de celle de Carrefour, de la construction d’une centrale photovoltaïque de 1,2MW à Jérémie et de la perspective de réhabilitation du système électrique d’Anse-à-Veau », a poursuivi l’ambassade dans cette correspondance.
« L’ambassade a profité de cette occasion pour exprimer son soutien et les expressions de sa haute considération tout en demeurant dans l’unité et la solidarité », a-t-il précisé dans la note.
Pour rappel, peu de temps après que la diaspora Haïtienne du Mexique a tiré sa sonnette d’alarme quand au nombre de difficultés que rencontrent les Haïtiens vivant dans ce pays surtout les boursiers de l’État Haïtien, cette rencontre a eu lieu en vue discuter autour d’un ensemble points cruciaux dans le cadre des relations diplomatiques entre Haïti et Mexique. Toutefois, quant aux différents problèmes que confrontent les Haïtiens dans ce pays lorsqu’ils voulaient envoyer un transfert en Haïti, aucune discussion, semble-t-il, n’a été amorcée sur ce point.
