L’ex député de Delmas-Tabbare, Arnel Bélizaire, ecroué depuis de 21 mois à la prison civile de croix des bouquets, ne veut plus des avocats qui sont impliqués dans les différents accord politique pour le defendre. Dans une note publier le 12 octobre 2021, le détenu dit vouloir garder à ses côtés que des avocats qui ne se sont impliqués dans aucun accord politique.
Lors d’une entretien téléphonique accordée à la rédaction de ManoActualité, Me Caleb Jean Baptiste, coordonnateur générale du bloc des avocats engagés pour la libération des prisonniers politiques, informe que cette décision à été prise par le fait qu’il avait toujours de divergences entre les avocats qui soutiennent les accords Ariel, Pen et Montana.
Soulignons qu’aprésent, seuls Max Stanley Lafortune, Caleb Jean-Baptiste, Camille Leblanc et Theleve Pierre Toussaint sont autorisés à prendre la parole au nom d’Arnel Bélizaire dans la Presse, en public et à le représenter par devant la Justice.
Arnel Bélizaire a été arrêté le 29 novembre 2019 sur la route de Jacmel en compagnie de plusieurs autres personnes. Ils sont considérés comme des prisonniers politiques, pour l’heure actuelle le dossier d’Arnel Bélizaire et concorts est renvoyé par le juge de la cour d’appel pour le lundi 18 octobre 2021.
