Dans cette perspective, le secteur des droits humains a déjà été abordé au fin de désigner trois personnes lesquelles sera tirée un représentant au nouveau Conseil Électoral Provisoire. Ce dernier précise le chef du gouvernement doit inspirer confiance à la population . Permettre une très large participation des citoyens afin que les futurs élus jouissent d’une certaine légitimité.
Pour devenir membre du nouveau conseil electoral provisoire des conditions s’imposent rappelle le numéro 1 de la primature. Être de nationalité haïtienne, résider dans le pays, être universitaire doté d’une formation juridique ou administrative et avoir dix ans d’expérience dans les domaines précités. La participation féminine est encouragée, précise la correspondance adressée aux membres du secteur des droits humains.
Le premier ministre Ariel Henry entame ses démarches alors que les membres de l’actuel CEP tentent de lui tenir tête. Suite à une correspondance qu’il leur avait adressé, ces derniers dans une lettre responsive ont affirmé ne pas reconnaitre l’autorité du premier ministre en la matière puisqu’ils ont été désignés par arrêté présidentiel sous la présidence de Jovenel Moïse.
