Technologie|-. Un voiturier automatisé inventé par FORD capable de réaliser des travaux humains

Au selon IAA Mobility de Munich, Ford fait la démonstration d’un service de voiturier automatisé capable de prendre en charge le stationnement, mais aussi le lavage et la recharge d’une voiture électrique, le tout grâce à un système de communication entre le véhicule et les infrastructures.

Imaginez que demain vous pourrez laisser votre voiture à l’entrée d’un parking pour la récupérer plusieurs heures ou jours plus tard et que pendant ce temps, seule et en toute autonomie, elle se sera garée, rechargée et lavée, ne relève plus de la science-fiction. Ce scénario, Ford l’a imaginé et en fait désormais la démonstration.

Que ce soit à l’aéroport, dans un stade ou un centre-ville, le stationnement automatique permet de gagner en efficacité avec une entrée, une sortie et des paiements sans contact. Avec cette solution, les conducteurs n’auront ainsi plus à se casser la tête à chercher pendant de longues minutes une place disponible. Ford estime même qu’un tel service pourrait permettre de garer jusqu’à 20% de véhicules supplémentaires dans un parking, sans les endommager et sans que ses occupants n’aient à ouvrir leur porte.

Faire livrer un colis dans le coffre de sa voiture
Pour arriver à un tel résultat, Ford s’est associé avec plusieurs équipementiers, dont Bosch, afin que le véhicule puisse donc automatiquement être dirigé vers une place laissée libre puis s’y garer. Pour le moment, cette technologie est encore au stade de développement et suppose la mise en place de tout un tas de capteurs dans le parking afin d’établir une communication entre les véhicules et les infrastructures (V2I). Rappelons que Bosch travaille depuis 2015 sur des technologies de stationnement autonome et de gestion intelligente des places de parking.

Et puisqu’une voiture connectée pourrait se garer toute seule, elle pourrait également être envoyée, à distance, vers une station de lavage ou de recharge dédiée, afin de ressortir du parking propre et pleinement chargée. De la même manière, il serait envisageable de se faire livrer un colis directement dans son coffre, si celui-ci est défini comme point de dépôt. Pour le propriétaire de la voiture, toutes ces commandes seraient directement exécutables depuis l’application FordPass.
