Haïti/pénurie d’essence: l’Association des Professionnels du Pétrole (A.P.P.E) s’alarme.

Depuis plus de deux ans, il ne se passe pas un mois sans pénurie de diesel ou de gazoline en Haïti. Cette semaine, ces deux produits pétroliers sont en rupture de stock dans le pays.
Selon une lettre adressée au ministre de la justice, l’association des professionnels du pétrole (APPE) attire l’attention du ministre Rockefeller Vincent sur la situation d’insécurité qui compromet le chargement dans les terminaux pétroliers.
En effet, selon eux, le terminal de Martissant est ferme depuis le 5 juillet 2021 après que des gangsters ont tirés sur le Navire de propane alors qu’il déchargeait sa cargaison.
Ensuite, le terminal de Thor est en rupture de stock d’essence à répétition car tous les clients viennent y charger leurs camions, lorsqu’ils ne peuvent plus accéder au terminal de varreux.
Et enfin, le terminal de varreux est inaccessible depuis le premier septembre, car les gangsters bloquent les accès routiers.
De ce fait, poursuit la correspondance, cette situation pénalise les compagnies pétrolières, leurs clients et le pays car les ruptures de stock entravent l’ensemble d’activité économique du pays.
Par ailleurs, des rumeurs font croire des stations de radio sont déjà en rupture de stock et menacent de ferme jusqu’à leurs renouvellements, de même certaines banques commerciaux de la capitale.
