Elle rappelle, en outre, les differentes interventions sans succès faites auprès du président de la république Jovenel Moïse afin qu’il facilite la mise sur pied d’une commission internationale d’enquête autour de l’assassinat du batonnier de l’ordre des avocats de Port-au-Prince, Me Monferrier Dorval.
Dans sa note, la Conférence Internationale des Barreaux dénonce avec éfroi l’assassinat de Me Roberson Louis, le samedi 7 Aout 2021, non loin de sa résidence à Delmas 69. La CIB s’inquiète de la dégradation de l’état de Droit en Haïti avec, a-t-elle mentionné, les bandits qui agissent comme leur semble et attaquent désormais ceux-là même qui veillent au respect de la justice dans le pays.
Quant à la demande faite par le gouvernement haïtien auprès de l’ONU pour qu’il y ait une commission d’enquête internationale autour de l’assassinat du président Jovenel Moïse, la Conférence Internationale des Barreaux dit s’attendre à ce que cette démarche soit étendue aux autres commises dans la société dont celles de Monferrier Dorval et Roberson Louis.
