Fappé d’un mandant d’amener émis le 3 août 2021 par le C.G de Port-au-Prince, Me. Moins de 48 heures après l’émission d’un mandat d’amener contre lui, l’homme religieux Gérard Forges rejette l’hypothèse de son implication dans le complot conduisant à l’assassinat du Président de la République Jovenel Moïse. Il avoue avoir eu plusieurs séances de travail avec Christian Emmanuel Sanon notamment sur des projets sociaux.
Cependant, M. Sanon lui avait expliqué qu’il était en mission et devait assurer la transition en Haïti comme Président. « Je n’ai jamais commis de crimes et je nie toute mon implication dans l’assassinat du Président Jovenel Moïse » dit-il.
Gérard Forges se dit être prêt à répondre aux questions de la DCPJ car seulement il s’était engagé dans la lutte pour améliorer les conditions de vie de la masse défavorisée.
Soulignons qu’un autre religieux, le pasteur Gérald Bataille, fait l’objet également d’un mandat d’amener dans le cadre de l’enquête sur l’assassinat de Jovenel Moïse.
