Brésil : président Jair Bolsonaro hospitalisé suites d’une crise hoquet

Dans un communiqué de presse paru ce mercredi 14 juillet,  la présidence brésilienne a indiqué que Jair Bolsonaro souffre d’une crise de hoquet depuis environ dix jours. Celui-ci a été admis dans la nuit du mardi 13 juillet à l’hôpital militaire de Brasilia afin de recevoir des soins nécessaires.

Le président d’extrême droite brésilien doit passer entre vingt-quatre et quarante-huit heures de temps  à l’hôpital afin que les médecins puissent observer l’évolution de son état de santé, a-t-on lu dans le communiqué, tout en précisant que le président se sent bien à  présent.

« Suivant les orientations de son équipe médicale, il a été admis à l’hôpital des Forces armées pour réaliser des examens afin d’identifier les causes du hoquet », a renchéri le même communiqué.

Âgé de 66 ans,  Jair Bolsonaro a évoqué depuis plusieurs semaines des complications sanitaires liées à un hoquet. Ces complications sanitaires sont survenues tout de suite après « une opération pour la pose d’un implant dentaire ». Jeudi dernier, le président Bolsonaro a lui-même fait part des mauvaises conditions de sa santé sur le géant plateforme numérique Facebook. « J’ai le hoquet depuis cinq jours. Ça m’est déjà arrivé auparavant, c’est peut-être à cause des médicaments que je prends, j’ai le hoquet 24 heures pas jour », a écrit celui qui surnommé le Donald Trump brésilien.

Durant sa présidence,  Jair Bolsonaro a déjà subi plusieurs interventions chirurgicales à l’abdomen à cause des séquelles attribuées  à  l’attaque à couteau dont il a été l’objet pendant sa campagne électorale en septembre 2018.

Contractant le Coronavirus en juillet 2020, Jair Bolsonaro n’éprouvait que des symptômes bénins liés à la maladie qui ravage depuis lors son pays, et il n’avait pas dû  hospitalisé.
