Un comité composé de 7 membres est mis sur pied aux fins de la préparation des funérailles nationales du Chef de l’État Jovenel Moïse, assassiné dans sa résidence dans la soirée le du 7 juillet dernier dans des circonstances tragiques et complexes.
Selon un arrêté gouvernemental publié ce lundi 12 juillet 2021, ce comité est composé des représentants de plusieurs ministères. Il s’agit du ministre des affaires étrangères et des cultes, du ministre de la culture et de la communication, du ministre de l’intérieur et des collectivités territoriales, du ministre de la défense, du directeur de cabinet du président de la République, du secrétaire général de la présidence et du directeur général du Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien.
Ces entités ont pour charge de prendre toutes les dispositions nécessaires en vue d’offrir au Président Jovenel Moïse des obsèques digne de son rang.
Toutes les institutions de l’administration publique nationale apporteront leur soutien au dit comité pour son bon fonctionnement.
Rappelons que le président Jovenel Moïse avait été assassiné lors d’une attaque armée dans sa résidence privée à Pelerin 5, commune de Pétion-Ville, par un commando armé composé de mercenaires colombiens, selon les autorités. Sa femme qui en est sortie grièvement blessée se remet graduellement, a-t-on appris.
