Haïti/Assassinat : Le Secteur Démocratique et Populaire (SDP) se positionne

Le Secteur Démocratique et Populaire, dans un communiqué en date du 8 juillet 2021 se prononce sur la crise politique qui sévit après l’assassinat de Jovenel Moïse en sa résidence privée à Pèlerin 5, laissant un goût amer dans la bouche des Haïtiens.

Moins de 48 heures après l’assassinat de l’ex-Président Jovenel Moïse, les hostilités sont lancées entre les différents protagonistes de la classe politique haïtienne. Si Claude Joseph et ses amis veulent s’accaparer du pouvoir alors qu’ils ont été révoqués par la nomination d’un nouveau premier ministre, le Secteur Démocratique et Populaire (SDP) ne veut pas les laisser faire. Dans un communiqué, cette frange de l’oppposition au régime PHTK dénonce l’attidude des barons du régime qui mènent une course effrénée et dans le désordre afin que tout soit entre leurs mains.  » Le Secteur Démocratique et Populaire trouve malsaine la course au pouvoir et dans le désordre à la laquelle se sont livrés des Barons du Régime sans se soucier de déterminer les circonstances
dans lesquelles le Président de Facto a été assassiné » alerte-t-il dans la note.

N’ayant pas de solution Constitutionnelle possible selon l’Esprit de l’article 139.1 après l’assasinat crapuleux de Jovenel Moïse, le SDP informe que des consultations sont en cours au niveau de la classe politique, de la société civile et de la diaspora pour combler le vide institutionnel provoqué par le départ prématuré du Chef de l’État.

Tout en présentant ses sympathies à la famille Moïse, le SDP dit réitérer sa volonté de travailler avec tous les secteurs en vue de mettre en place un autre gouvernement assorti d’une transition qui, selon leurs termes, sera  » la transition de rupture. »

Face à cette crise qui secoue le pays, les le SDP appelle la population des dix départements géographiques du pays et de la diaspora à faire preuve de vigilance et d’intelligence pour mieux défendre les intérêts
fondamentaux de la nation.
