L’Association Nationale des Greffiers Haïtiens (ANAGH), dans un communiqué publié ce jeudi 24 juin 2021, dit avoir appris avec tristesse le départ de deux membres du Corps Judiciaire. Il s’agit du Magistrat René Sylvestre et de Maître Romain Sarry, tous deux décédés dans la même semaine à trois jours d’intervalle .
Ces deux variants du coronavirus frappent de plein fouet presque tous les secteurs de la vie nationale. Les professionnels du droit ne sont pas épargnés. Ainsi, entre le 20 et le 23 juin 2021, le secteur judicaire a perdu deux grandes figures. Des nouvelles tristes pour les membres de l’Association Nationale des Greffiers Haïtiens (ANAGH).
En effet, Me. Romain Sarry, Commis Parquet des Gonaïves, est décédé le dimanche 20 juin à l’Hôpital Universitaire de Mirebalais des suites du coronavirus. Il en est de même pour Me. René Sylvestre, Magistrat, Président de la Cour de Cassation de la République et également Président du Conseil Supérieur du Pouvoir Judiciaire (CSPJ), décédé le 23 juin.
Touchée par l’annonce de ces deux décès consécutifs au plus niveau du système judiciaire, l’ANAGH présente ses sympathies « à tous les Magistrats et Greffiers de la République, spécialement ceux de la Cour de Cassation de la République, du TPI des Gonaïves, aux membres du CSPJ et son personnel, au personnel judiciaire du pays, spécialement celui de la Cour de Cassation de et celui du TPI des Gonaïves, aux Commis Parquets des 18 Juridictions du pays, spécialement ceux de la Cour de Cassation et ceux des Gonaïves, aux Associations des Magistrats, ANAMAH, RENAMAH, APM, AJUPHA, COMADH et AMAGS, à la Fédération des Barreaux d’Haïti aux Familles et à toute la communauté judiciaire éplorée par leur départ . »
