Maître Gims veut mettre fin à sa carrière de rappeur.

Maître Gims, trop de talent, rappeur et chanteur du groupe Sexion D’assaut, mais insatisfait de sa carrière de rappeur. C’est pourquoi réédite 10 titres de son dernier album sorti le 04 décembre 2020, qu’il renomme « Les vestiges du Fléau » en date du 28 mai 2021.

« Je veux enchainer de gros hits » lance Maître Gims, frère de Dadju et hit maker avec des titres comme « Bella », « Sapé comme jamais » ou encore « J’me tire ». Il prétend que les gens disent que « c’est du lourd » pourtant il de fiche guère de ce lourd, « il faut faire des trucs gros et d’arrêter de satisfaire une minorité. Il se souvient de ses accomplissements populaires et à succès.

Avec ces précisions, il est clair que Maître Gims arrêtera de rapper, pour aller enchainer titres semblables à ces derniers succès, surtout en voyant son frère Dadju alléché même par le public anglophone avec des méga hits. Tandis qu’auparavant, Dadju faisait le plein de son ombre. On peut considérer cette réédition comme l’indique le titre « les vestiges » de son rap.

« J’ai plus envie de rapper, de me baggarrer dans des textes de rap » conclut-il. Écrire des morceaux de rap surtout quand on fait pas l’égotrip, il est si difficile d’atteindre un énorme public . Bien que Maître Gims ait l’habitude de rapper autrefois, cette dernière experience n’a pas enlevé le goût de ces chansons. À tel point que si on demande en Haïti un titre sur l’album Fléau,personne ne le connaitrait, tandis que la plupart des mélomanes haiïtiens peuvent chanter les autres chansons de Gims sans ambages. Nous pouvons nous référer à son concert en Haïti, comment le buzz était au rendez-vous, intélligemment il a fait son choix. Celui-ci peut fructifier son compte de plus que le rap.
