Victime de rascisme, l’ex joueur du Milan AC et du Benevento, Seid Visin se suicide.
Seid Visin, agé de seulement 20 ans, s’est suicidé après avoir supporté le racisme comme la maladie incurable. Né en Ethiopie, adopté par des parents italiens, il a grandi à l’académie du Milan AC. Sa lettre a éxpliqué les raisons de son geste macabre.
Peut-être s’il avait eu le mental de Balotelli, cela ne se serait pas terminé ainsi, le jeune Vesin raconte dans sa lettre adressée à ses amis et son psychotérapeute qu’une dame âgée a refusé qu’il lui serve dans un restaurant à cause qu’il était noir. C’était après qu’il laissa le haut niveau pour continuer ses études, bien qu’il ait continué à jouer avec le club Atlético Vitalica.
Le jeune homme a déclaré avec déchirement qu’il avait l’impression de devoir « prouver aux gens qu’ils ne me connaissaient pas, que j’étais comme eux, que j’étais italien, que j’étais blanc ».
Il a écrit que c’était comme s’il avait «honte d’être noir, comme si j’avais peur d’être pris pour un immigré ».
« J’ai rencontré Seid dès mon arrivée à Milan, nous avons vécu ensemble en internat, quelques années ont passé mais je ne peux pas et je ne veux pas oublier son incroyable sourire, cette joie de vivre. » déclare Donnarumma, colocataire de Visin à Milan, actuel Gardien de l’équipe italienne de Football, la Squadra Azura.
« Nous sommes nuls » relate Claudio Marchisio, « nos blagues, nos discours insensés portés sur les réseaux souciaux sont stupides et cyniques quand nous faisons allusions à la couleur de peaux »
S’exprimant lors de ses funérailles, le prêtre Don Andrea Annunziata a condamné le « pouvoir scandaleux du mal » qui, selon lui, a causé la mort de Visin. Il a dit: « La leçon que nous sommes appelés à apprendre est celle qui nous voit engagés à sortir de notre solitude. « Il y a des cœurs fragiles qui implosent. Seid était l’un d’entre eux. Cela ne peut plus se reproduire. »
Il devrait avoir plein de rêves mais le racisme l’a éventré à mort, toute cette montée du rascisme en italie est du selon lui réservée aux immigrants noirs qui résident au pays.
