Haïti / Sécurité: Un inspecteur divisionnaire abattu à Cité-Soleil.
Des hommes armés ont abattu l’inspecteur divisionnaire, Adolphe Miradel dans l’après-midi du samedi 5 juin 2021 à l’antenne de police de Carrefour Drouillard, commune de Cité-Soleil, au cours d’une attaque armée. Les malfrats avaient également pris pour cible le poste de police de la Station des Gonaïves et ont emporté tous les matériels de service qui s’y trouvaient, notamment plusieurs armes de gros calibres.
L’inspecteur divisionnaire Adolphe Miradel, âgé de 49 ans a été criblé de balles au poste de police de Carrefour Drouillard où il cantonnait. Selon ce que confie une source policière, l’agent de l’ordre a reçu plusieurs balles dont l’une au niveau de la tête. Au cours de cette incursion armée, les bandits ont dépossédé les policiers de leurs armes de service. Aussi ont-ils dérobé tous les matériels qui étaient à l’intérieur de ces deux antennes de police, situées dans la commune de Cité-Soleil, a ajouté cette même source policière.
Après avoir exécuté l’inspecteur, les malfrats ont pris la fuite sans trop s’inquiéter. Le cadavre de la victime jonchait dans la rue pendant plusieurs heures. En raison des tirs sporadiques d’armes automatiques des bandits qui opéraient dans le périmètre , les autorités judiciaires avaient toutes les peines du monde procéder au constat légal du corps inerte de l’inspecteur.
Définitivement, Haïti est sous l’emprise totale des groupes gangs armés qui imposent leur loi à la population civile. Les institutions qui devraient jouer le rôle de garants de la bonne marche de la société, n’existent que de nom aujourd’hui.
Entretemps, la situation s’empire de jour en jour dans les quartiers populaires dont Bel Air, Delmas 2, Cité-Soleil, Martissant, Grand-Ravine, Fontamara et autres. Alors que les autorités de l’État continuent de s’enrichir aux frais des contribuables, lesquels frais devraient se retourner à eux sous forme de services y compris la sécurité de leur vie et de leurs biens.
