Haïti Politique: Convocation de Maitre Jean Danton Léger, le SDP dénonce.
Quelques jours après sa démonstration dans une vidéo tournée en boucle sur les réseaux sociaux, l’ancien député Jean Danton Léger est convoqué par le Commissaire du Gouvernement de Petit-Goave. Me Léger est en effet l’un des principaux initiateurs d’une rencontre déroulée à Léogane pour faire échec au référendum. Il doit se présenter au parquet de la juridiction de Petit-Goave le vendredi 4 juin prochain. Parallèlement, les membres du secteur démocratique et populaire envisagent de lui exprimer leur solidarité en mettant en sursis toutes leurs autres activités pour une grande manifestation de soutien.
Pour le Secteur Démocratique et Populaire, cette convocation est une forme d’intimidation dirigée contre l’opposition politique qui affiche haut et fort son refus de s’associer au pouvoir de Jovenel Moïse et de faire échec au référendum. C’est, d’ailleurs, dans cette perspective que la rencontre dans la commune de Léogane au cours du week-end écoulé avait eu lieu, font remarquer les responsables du SDP dans ce communiqué publié le lundi 31 Mai 2021. La vidéo tourne en boucle sur les réseaux sociaux montrant l’ex parlementaire en pleine séance de distribution et d’exhibition de machettes en criant: « Non au référendum. »
« Le Secteur Démocratique et Populaire (SDP) dénonce et condamne avec la plus grande fermeté la convocation politiquement motivée de Maitre Jean Danton Léger par le
Commissaire du Gouvernement de Petit-Goâve. Cette convocation est un acte d’intimidation et de Répression Politique inacceptable contre l’un des dirigeants de l’opposition », pouvait-on lire dans la note.
Pour exprimer leur solidarité au leader de l’opposition dans la commune de Léogane, le SDP, le MOPOD, Konbit, IPAM, Matris Liberasyon, Nou vle viv, Nou Konsyan, la Plaine en
action et MTC invitent toutes les forces vives de la région des Palmes à un important mouvement de mobilisation le vendredi 4 juin entre 9hres AM et 6 hres PM devant le siège du Palais de Justice de Petit-Goâve.
Cette rencontre, expliquent les dirigeants du secteur démocratique et populaire, participe d’une campagne démarrée depuis le 20 mai 2021 par l’ensemble des partis et organisations de l’opposition politique visant à freiner le processus mis en branle par l’équipe au pouvoir pour faire avaler, selon eux, la nouvelle constitution de Jovenel Moïse qu’ils qualifient d’illégale.
