1346 : Une loi pour protéger les forêts
Par l’ordonnance de Brunoy, le roi de France Philippe VI de Valois décide de ne plus accorder de droits d’usage dans les forêts du domaine royal. Il prescrit que « des agents des eaux et forêts soient tenus de temps en temps de visiter tous les espaces boisés, d’y enquêter et de les faire exploiter, afin qu’ils se puissent perpétuellement soustraire en bon état ».
1660 : Fin de la « Grande Rébellion»
