Rapatrié de la Rép dominicaine: Péguy Siméon tué à Ouanaminte par des agents de PNH.
Péguy Siméon fraîchement rapatrié par l’immigration dominicaine, a trouvé la mort le mardi 11 mai 2021 sur le lit d’un centre hospitalier de la place, après avoir été brutalisé par des agents de la PNH à Ouanaminte.
Selon les témoignages, la victime a été déporté de la République dominicaine. Et elle voulait rejoindre sa famille à Saint-Raphaël. Incapable de trouver les moyens nécessaires pour payer son transport, le jeune Péguy voulait voyager dans un autobus qui s’apprêtait à transporter catholiques vers le Cap-haïtien. Les missionnaires auraient refusé de lui accorder la chance de faire la route avec eux. Déterminé, il est monté par dessus l’autobus. Les voyageurs ont alors sollicité de l’aide des agents de la PNH. C’est ainsi que tout a commencé avant d’être tourné au drame ayant causé la mort du jeune homme.
Dans une vidéo qui circule en boucle sur les réseaux sociaux, l’on peut remarquer un agent de l’Unité Départementale de Maintien d’Ordre (UDMO) jetant un jeune homme du haut d’un autobus comme s’il s’agissait d’un sac d’objets indésirables. Arrivé sur le sol, la victime a été reçu par des coups de matraques d’un autre policier du même corps, sous le regard étonné et impassible des passants curieux et des missionnaires catholiques. Transféré d’urgence à l’hôpital, Péguy Siméon n’a pas survécu à ses blessures.
Cet drame a provoqué soulevé la colère et la consternation tant chez les membres de la famille de la victime qui exigent justice et réparation que chez des citoyens de bonne volonté qui crient au scandale et exigent que les coupables soient identifiés et punis conformément aux lois de la république, puisque, selon eux la victime ne semblait représenter aucune menace pour les forces de l’ordre au moment du drame.
